If you’d like to see sea life in its natural habitat without getting wet, the tide pools at Royal Palms offer glimpses of sea anemones and other unusual life forms that live in the wet nooks and crannies of the rocky shoreline after the tide has gone out. Don’t be suprised to see a flock of Brown Pelicans fly by. Sturdy footwear is recommended. This beach has tidepools, swimming, surfing, a pinic area, a promenade, restrooms. There is a childrens playground and a small park at the top of the bluff. Meter parking is available at the top of the bluff and there is 191 parking spaces including 19 handicaped spaces by the beach. Fee for parking. This beach is one of the hidden gems of San Pedro.
